Heartbeat

Today was an awesome day. I have pictures of the little butterbean inside of me. He/She is just a black dot, but still very cute. I also got to hear the heartbeat. Rob will go with me in January and he will get to listen too. It's still very hard to believe, but exciting. Just thought you guys would enjoy that news.

Promotion

This has definitely been a good week. First I finally graduated on December 12th, I recieved my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. Even better, today we found out that Rob has been promoted to Staff Sargent. We have been waiting on this for a couple of months and are so excited. I am so proud of him. That has been one of Rob's long term goals for his Army career and he has achieved that at the age of 26, so awesome!!

Getting Started

So... this is the first time either of us have ever had a blog, so bear with us as we learn to use this. Rob and I thought this would be a great way to share with our friends our upcoming year. Rob can tell you about his experiences in Iraq and we can both share about this pregnancy. We hope that you enjoy reading and know that we love you all. It is family and friends that make everything much easier through times that may otherwise be challenging.
